Maestrick has already been Regency

For those people who do not know, the band has already been called “Regency”, and this is not long ago. But, if to find a name for a band is not that easy, why they have decided to change it? According to Fábio Caldeira, the decision to change was taken after the musicians have found another band with a similar name. “We decided to change after we have found another Brazilian band with a similar name. The spelling is not the same, but the phonetics is identical. Thus, we preferred to change the group’s name to “Maestrick”, after meetings and more meetings.”
“Our new name was created from the combination of two words: Maestro and Trick. The meaning of it would be something close to “Maestro of Mischief” or “Maestral Mischief”. Always underscoring this eternal balance that we must always look for as people and musicians, or so much the better: as artists and “mischievous”.




Not to forget mentioning that the band will release their album soon. You are getting closer to launch day. Too bad I do not have permission to publish the date yet :) But as Fabio will allow me, I will give the news firsthand.
