O Maestrick foi formado em abril de 2004 por músicos de São José do Rio Preto/SP. Sua formação é composta por Fábio Caldeira (vocal e piano), Renato "Montanha" Somera (contra baixo), Danilo Augusto (guitarra), Maurício Figueiredo (guitarra) e Heitor Matos (bateria).
A proposta da banda é aderir à espontaneidade, e atualmente aposta no projeto “Aquarela Sonora” que consiste na integração entre a música e as diversas manifestações artísticas, como pintura, literatura, teatro e dança.
A banda se encontra finalizando seu debut, que foi gravado no estúdio AR-15 (Bebedouro-SP) e está sendo mixado no estúdio AK-47 (Seattle, E.U.A.) pelo produtor Gustavo Carmo (VersOver, Imago Mortis, Hamlet).
Seguindo a linha do heavy metal/rock progressivo, a banda incorpora elementos pessoais, tornando seu som singular. Ritmos latinos, instrumentos tipicamente regionais, como a viola caipira, tudo isso muito bem mesclado em músicas que oscilam entre a agressividade e a leveza, complementadas com um toque moderno, e uma sintonia ideal entre harmonizações vocais, sintetizadores, guitarras pesadas e orquestrações.

The Maestrick was formed in April 2004 by musicians from Sao Jose do Rio Preto / SP. Its formation is composed by Fabio Caldeira (vocals, piano), Renato "Mountain" Somera (bass), Danilo Augusto (guitar), Mauricio Figueiredo (guitar) and Hector Matos (drums).
The proposal is to join the band's spontaneity, and the project currently bet "Aquarela Sound" which is the integration between the music and artistic expressions such as painting, literature, theater and dance.
The band is finishing his debut, which was recorded in the studio AR-15 (SP-Trough) and is being mixed in the studio AK-47 (Seattle, USA) by the producer Gustavo Carmo (VersOver, Imago Mortis, Hamlet).
Following the heavy metal / progressive rock, the band incorporates elements of personal, making their sound unique.Latin rhythms, typically regional instruments such as the hillbilly guitar, all mixed very well with songs that range from aggression and lightness, complete with a modern flair, and an ideal harmony between vocal harmonies, synths, heavy guitars and orchestrations.
